The early cartoon reels were fantastic! They were made with 3-D clay figures.

Many years ago an antiques collector friend gave me a ton of "Stereopticon" view cards circa late 1800's-early 1900's. Still have them but not the viewer.

I used to have one of 'em back in the late 60's. The only reels I had was from Irwin Allen's "Land of the Giants".

As a child, they were fascinating! We used to have a lot of the disney reels. Think they are somewhere at my parents home....

My friend had one of these growing up. I think they're still around in some toy stores.

I have mine from when I was a kid - and my mother's from when she was a kid (she's 80 now!).
