Have to disagree with you there. Matchbox may have had a wilder selection but Hot Wheels made a better car.

I always preferred these to Hotwheels... Those tended to go to wild-looking hot-rod cars with gigantic motors sticking out the hood, etc. Matchbox looked like real cars that I'd see on the road every day, which I much preferred.
