You forgot Irwin Allen's The Towering Inferno. Made in 1974, nominated for best picture. Won Oscar for best original song, "We May Never Love like this Again". One of the biggest moneymakers of the the era.
Agreed, Chuck, there are plenty of omissions, particularly in that gallery. I was trying to concentrate on the 50s/60s era, but had some favorites from the early 70s and Lo, a new gallery was born. It's just li'l ole me here, though, so if you'd like to add some movies to the heap (with date, poster image, imdb link, list of stars, and director), please click on the "Submit an item" button (next to the "Post comment" button at the bottom of most pages). And thanks in advance for any such submissions!
Hi, jbitt49. There's a "Submit an item" button at the bottom of each gallery and item page (if you're registered and logged in) expressly for adding items to the site. "American Graffiti" would indeed be a welcome addition; its absence is nothing short of inexcusable, and I'll work to correct that right now.
How are films added to this site? I would like to suggest that "America Graffiti" is a prime example of a Boomer era film about the era.
