I wasn't much of a reader until I discovered the Hardy Boys when I was around 11. I then started collecting the whole series and really devoured them. I still have a vague memory of some of the plots, like that of "The Mystery of the Chinese Junk".
When I was a kid, (several decades ago) someone gave my mom a collection of Hardy Boys books and IIRC, they were meant to be a "loan" but I don't think the owner ever got them back---don't remember the details now. I loved to read (and still do) and am sure I read many of these, don't know which ones at this point and since I can't remember where my car keys are most of the time, I sure don't remember the plots to these books. But I enjoyed reading and liked the TV show in the 70's when I was an adult and had kids of my own. Always a good story but again, the storyline escapes me now.
