Ed Roth was truly an interesting character with a great history of building cars but then he got into doing the Rat Fink in paint and on shirts. I really was into his stuff as a kid in the 70's and I bought plastic model kits of his cars and actually of the Rat Fink Character. That's if i could save enough money. Ed stayed in the business and is very well known for his designs, and the cars he developed and had built. He died at age 69 in Manti Utah, of all places. There was a movie made about him in 2006 which depending on your view, was either really good or really bad. I saw it years ago and probably need to see it again.

I had several models and a talented high school senior would airbrush a picture for you if you brought him a T-shirt and $2. Needless to say I had couple shirts also.
