Funny story about these...I had a collection of these and back around the time the Hunt bothers tried to corner the silver market the value of silver shot though the roog...must've been the early 80s...I took them to a coin dealer and he told me the silver content was worth more (much more) than the collectible value...a dealer in Boca Raton was offering a large (for me at the time) amount of money for old silver coins so I drove up to see him...I had the blue collectors books in my glove box...I stopped at a local store to buy film for my Canon F-1 - luckily I took the camera with me.  The store was in a shady part of Lauderhill, FL...when I retruhned to my car the contents of my glove box were on the floor (I'd left my window down) and a pair of $20 binoculars was missing...the books were untouched...guess this was a non-reading crowd...if they'd bothered to open the books I wouldda been out the dimes...They prolly took a quick glance at the books and said "We don' need this crap...books!!!"and thought they'd hit the jackpot with the cheap(relatively) binos...I lucked out...I drove to Boca and got (IIRC) about 40 bux for the collection.  Crime doesn't pay...as well as it used'ta...
