A while back I mentioned the Czech Art -Nouveau artist Alfons Mucha and his art for the Champagne Biscuits Levevre-Util - what eventually became Burrys - here's a link to a JPG:

Technically, the company still exists to restaurant customers. But it's not the same now as it was when it was part of Quaker Oats.

I remember Burrys well...IIRC it was a NYC Metro area thing...the LU was Lefevre-Util - a French biscuit company. The great Czech art-nouveau artist, Alfons Mucha, did some advertisement work for them in his early career.

I grew up in Irvington, NJ and my parents knew about Burrys for many years
my mom took me there to buy the best cookies. I really miss those times. I would
love to know where I can buy burrys cookies. If any one knows please email
me at sherri.bardarik@aol.com. I would appreciate a real response. Thank you

I worked for Mutual Biscuit out of New Rocelle Ny for 35 Years. I worked in the Ct Division.

We sold the entire Burry line of cookies. They were the best . Miss that brand.
