I remember "Care" packages.  I suspect many younger folks nowadays have no idea what this is.  Kind of sad, really.

Yes, the now common slang term for any sort of comfort or assitance package is a registered trademark of Cooperative for American Remittances to Europe. The service was operational until the late 60's and provided foodstuffs to miserable postwar Europe.
