I recall reading an article, John Lennon invited Mr. Blue Suede Shows to visit him in the Carribean so John could preview the songs for his LP, "Double Fantasy" the one climbing the charts when we learned of the tragedy.

and Paul McCartney's - I was at Paul's pre-concert warmup show a few years ago and he opened with Honey Don't
